SELF BELIEF? DO I KNOW HER?

Hey beauties, another week done and another blog post coming your way!! It is officially TWO WEEKS until we debut the show. WTFFFF. The closer it gets the more I start to panic haha. Ugh, I could not be more excited but right now it is feeling veryyyy real and the girl-boss in me is FREAKING OUT. We’re nearly there. The night is fast approaching. I can’t wait to see so many of you there, it’s going to be so much fun.

The art of self-belief is a strange one. You are in control of how much validation you give yourself and the way you speak to yourself in the mirror. Sometimes it can feel like even when everyone is telling you how amazing you are and how much you are KILLING IT, you struggle to tell yourself the same. Recently, I’ve been working on perfecting the art of self-belief. Now, will it ever be perfect really? No of course not. We’re are human beings and down days do exist, but I’ve been exercising my mind in the best way possible to ensure that I am treating myself with the upmost respect. Over the past few months, my body has begun to change. I’ve received quite a few comments about it as people have noticed the change and I’m not going to lie at first it freaked me out slightly. Our bodies constantly change, it’s human nature and allowing yourself to remember that is so important. My whole life I’ve received comments about my body, it’s why I created the blog in the first place, and recently I’ve been making sure that I’m looking after myself mentally just as much as I am physically with making sure I am the healthiest and happiest version of myself. Being able to look yourself in the mirror and validate your body, your mind, your heart and everything in between is SO AMAZING and should be celebrated. Having self-belief allows you to lay the foundations to grow as a person because no one is going to do it for you. Reminding yourself that you are in control. That you are a good person. You have a kind heart. You care. Caring is really fucking cool just saying. It can be the simplest things, but allowing yourself to believe these things is so important and when you can do that it makes you feel like you can achieve the most incredible things. Remember the opinions of others do not define your self-worth or your capability. Your body is fucking perfect. Your body changing is all part of being human.

I hope you all have the most gorgeous week. The two-week countdown is on. I feel sick. Omg. We’re fucking doing it. Hold on tight, it’s going to be a crazy ride!!!

Big love ALWAYS,

Lucy Xxx
